Event Abstract

For the last three years in a row, Metagroup has highlighted Business and IT Alignment as the number one issue among CIOs. A key strategy to bridge this gap is the development of formal business architecture to formally define the business domain; setting the context for the development of aligned IT architectures and IT automation designs.

The presentation will give an overview of the key concepts and application of business architecture methods and techniques to both public and private sector settings. A key focus will be on the support that this approach provides to the development of effective IT solutions and the formal definition of processes.

The speaker will offer a variety of perspectives on this emerging field based on his experience in developing both Business and IT architectures.

Speaker Bio

John Bruder is a partner and senior consultant with Chartwell Inc with over 20 years of experience in information technology. Over the last 8 years, John has specialized in the application of business architecture methods and techniques to the development of IT architectures and IT strategies. Assignments of note include:
