The goal when managing projects is to deliver the expected functionality, on time, within budget, with the desired quality. A disciplined approach decreases the risks and increases the odds of achieving this goal. This presentation discusses a disciplined approach (sometimes referred to as key processes and procedures) to manage an IM/IT project, and concentrates on two basic procedures, with supporting tools, to estimate a project's size, effort and cost, and schedule.
